Welcome

Beautifully appointed holiday bungalows on Norfolk's coast just a few minutes stroll to a vast sandy beach.

"Dawn" is on the Hemsby/Winterton border at Long Beach

"Eve" is on the coastal edge of Scratby, overlooking Scroby Sands

"Luna" is in Happisburgh, opposite the iconic lighthouse

Eve and Dawn are plaster clad timber framed former coast-watchmen's bungalows, which have been extended/renovated/decorated (and heavily insulated) recently in what a lot of guests call a "quirky" style.  Luna is a quaint brick built bungalow.  All are in back street lanes away from the bustle of traffic.

Sleeping four people in two spacious bedrooms (twin plus double at Dawn, king at Eve and Luna) both with smart TV

Dawn and Eve have a logburner, Luna has an open fire. Both have central heating, bath with overhead shower, decent broadband and smart TVs.

Fully enclosed gardens, gated with concrete based panelled fencing 4 feet in height (7 feet all round at Luna). Off-road parking plus additional space on road.

We know that people love to bring their dogs on holiday with them to the spectacular Norfolk coast with its gorgeous sandy beaches, so the bungalows have wooden/tiled floors and rugs throughout and easy to wipe down soft leather sofas.

At Dawn and Eve a max of 4 well-behaved dogs are welcome free of charge (please ask if you would like to bring more - we have never said no so far, and never make charges) at Luna a max of 3 well behaved dogs - some cottage owners charge a fee for pets, we feel this is unfair, but we do ask that in return you tidy up after your pets - both inside and in the garden, and that you please ensure they are under control at all times in the neighbourhood. The bungalows  are in peaceful village locations and we ask that guests are ultra respectful of this. Our insurance policy makes no discrepancy for breeds, ALL are welcome inc bully breeds.

The beach is dog-friendly all year round, there are often seals swimming past on their way to Horsey Beach seal colony which is a short drive (5 miles), where hundreds of seals migrate to have their young in the winter months. If you are brave and enjoy very long walks, Horsey Beach is reached via the coast/coastal footpath.

Eve and Dawn are a short drive to Great Yarmouth with its variety of independent seafront shops and Sealife Centre, amusements, large funfair, museums and all kinds of restaurants and pubs. Wroxham Barns, Thrigby Hall and Africa Alive are nearby. There are fishing lakes, boats available for day-hire on the broads, leisure centres and a golf course within a short drive.  Luna is close to the broads, Wroxham Barns and steam railway, and Pigney Woods; it is also a 30 minute drive from Cromer. BUT, you may also wish to just relax in the garden with a glass of wine and a book, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Check-in is from 3pm (sometimes earlier - please text me on day) , check-out strictly 10am please. Keysafe code/postcode etc are sent over by email.  All beds are made up and towels, handwash, tea towels, dishwasher tabs, cooking oil, seasonings, tea, coffee, sugar are provided.

Bungalows have a washer and dryer, washing line, pegs, dishwasher and microwave, tall fridge-freezers, toastie-maker, slow cooker, cleaning equipment, hoover/mop. Doggy water bowls and tennis balls/toys/poo bags are also provided. They have the highest WiFi available for the area.

Supermarkets deliver to the door, and we can unpack a grocery delivery if you ask in advance (small extra charge for housekeeper)

Please do feel free to call if you are unsure which bungalow would suit you best, or for any other questions - we love to help.
