Welcome

Two beautifully appointed holiday bungalows on Norfolk's south-east coast with breathtaking sea views and a few minutes stroll to a heavenly sandy beach.

"Dawn" is on the Hemsby/Winterton border at Long Beach.

"Eve" is on the coastal edge of Scratby, overlooking Scroby Sands

Both have been refurbished in the last few years and are beautifully decorated - they are timber framed former coast-watchmen's bungalows, which have been extended and upgraded. Set along very peaceful lanes, well away from main roads, there is no traffic sounds, only the gently lulling sound of sea-birds - the perfect place to unwind and get away from the bustle of everyday life.

Sleeping four people in two spacious bedrooms with power showers, logburners + full central heating, fully enclosed gardens and off-road parking.

Available 365 days a year.  Short breaks (Mon-Fri only), Long weekends (Fri-Mon) - NOT AVAILABLE DURING JULY/AUGUST - and week long breaks (Fri-Fri only)

We know that people love to bring their dogs on holiday with them to the spectacular Norfolk coast with its gorgeous sandy beach, so both bungalows have been finished with this in mind, with wooden/tiled floors and rugs throughout, easy to clean soft leather sofas with throws.

4 well-behaved dogs are welcome free of charge (please ask if you would like to bring more - we usually say yes) - most cottage owners charge a fee for pets, we feel this is unfair, but we do ask that in return you tidy up after your pets - both inside and in the garden.

The beach is dog-friendly all year round, and there are often seals swimming past on their way to Horsey Beach seal colony which is a short drive (5 miles), where hundreds of harbour and grey seals migrate to have their young. This is an amazing sight. The seal pup season is usually from November until February. We warn dog-owners to please keep their pets on leads when seals are nearby, and for humans to keep their distance.  If you are brave and enjoy very long walks, Horsey Beach is reached via the coastal path from both Eve and Dawn, but is a good 6-7+ mile walk. Lagoons often form on the beach at both Scratby and Long Beach which are fun for both children and dogs.

Nearby, Great Yarmouth is 4 miles from Eve, 6 from Dawn: with a variety of independent and multi-national shops, a Sealife Centre, amusements and of course a large funfair, museums and all kinds of restaurants and pubs. Wroxham Barns is a short drive, Thrigby Hall and Africa Alive are nearby. There are fishing lakes, boats available for day-hire on the broads, leisure centres and a golf course within a short drive. BUT, you may also wish to just relax in the garden with a glass of wine and stare out at the sea.
